External Relation Group is the body negotiatinog and leading CEPOL's biliteral and multiliteral relations with other countries and institutes. The previous meeting was in Nanterre, France on 10 February 2009.

The first meeting hosted in Turkiye was in 2007 in Istanbul. And this is the second meting in Istanbul, Turkiye.

Expected countries for the meeting;
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain.
